For enterprises, Blue PVP validates a cloud computing provider's ability to meet users' needs. For cloud computing providers, Blue PVP includes a list of the features and functions that cloud computing providers need to offer within the emerging cloud computing market to meet enterprise needs. The program looks at many data points including reliability, security, scalability, elasticity, use of standards, portability, and other items specific to the cloud offering.
