FOSE 2009, the most comprehensive event for government information technology (IT) professionals in partnership with Comcast Spotlight, today announced that CNN senior White House correspondent, Ed Henry, will serve as the opening keynote for FOSE 2009 on March 10. His remarks will focus on what it is like to cover an administration that is so tech savvy. Scheduled for March 10-12, 2009 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC, FOSE is the largest trade show for government technology professionals.

Ed Henry, based in CNN’s Washington, DC bureau, was named to his current position in December 2008. Mr. Henry has covered the White House for CNN since March 2006.

Mr. Henry won the White House Correspondents’ Association’s Merriman Smith Award in 2008 for excellence in presidential coverage under deadline pressure. Prior to joining the White House unit, Henry covered Capitol Hill for CNN. In February 2006, while serving as a congressional correspondent, Henry was awarded the prestigious Everett Dirksen Award for Distinguished Reporting of Congress from the National Press Foundation for the depth and breadth of his coverage throughout 2005.
