eAgency Releases Its 3.0 Version Featuring On-Demand SFA Synchronization

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., May 23 /PRNewswire/ -- eAgency Systems, provider of on-demand customer relationship management solutions for the Small to Medium Office/Home Office market, announces the Sales Force Automation (SFA) expansion of Nice Office Universal Edition. This new 3.0 version of eAgency's popular CRM solution delivers an exciting array of web and wireless SFA features that enable mobile professionals to realize greater mobile productivity.

"In just a few years, Nice Office has grown into an increasingly robust and intuitive application. The expanded SFA features are a giant leap forward that has created the ability for the sales person to perform the full set of tasks and activities common to a sales cycle, regardless of location," says Robert Lotter, CEO and founder of eAgency Systems.

In addition to the existing capabilities of Nice Office, including over- the-air wireless synchronization of sales and customer data as well email, calendar, and contacts, the latest version offers several must-have features. Users can now receive leads along with all of their data, including previous activities and sales. Plus, the integration of Nice Office Web with the BlackBerry Wireless Handheld from Research in Motion, , enables users to automatically record key events such as appointments, calls, letters, emails and other activities directly into the CRM system. With the Nice Office web and wireless journaling process, organizations can improve the data on activity reporting while eliminating the need to complete weekly activity reports. The ability to reduce the inaccuracies and delays in the weekly reporting process saves time spent on non-selling tasks, so users have more time to focus on new sales opportunities. The new features retain the ability to be used by Employee and Non-employee groups without the need for corporate infrastructure or third party integration.

Other new SFA features of Nice Office include the Sales Funnel, Mail Merge, Custom Contact and Sales Fields, Full Contact View, Maps and Directions. Each of these new capabilities follows in the Nice Office tradition of mirroring the web features to the wireless device so that Mobile Professionals can utilize the same work processes in the field or in the office. "Combining the new and existing features help Mobile Professionals dramatically boost productivity and easily manage their activity reporting," explains Chuck Cronin, CMO of eAgency Systems. "It's a full suite of applications that address the real needs of these mobile professionals in a powerful and cost-effective way."

The Nice Office product works on the full suite of J2ME BlackBerry devices from RIM including those devices that operate on the Verizon, Nextel, Sprint, Cingular and T-Mobile networks including the most recent generation of BlueTooth-enabled devices. Business specific information is tightly integrated with the existing BlackBerry(R) user interface to offer a seamless transition from contacts and calendar to detailed sales and status information -- all encapsulated in an end-to-end encrypted data packet.

Wide and cheap availability of cloud-based media services is upon us. With the transformations these services are already bringing to the consumption of music, video and interactive media, change has likewise come to professional workflows. Cloud is a shift from the focus on underlying technology implementation to leveraging existing implementations and further building upon them. Cloud orchestration or a network of clouds is the wave of the future where these clouds can operate with elasticity, scalability, and efficiency. 2011 was a year of rapid adoption for public and private cloud services. Instant and on-demand server provisioning was the driving force behind the massive growth. On top, cloud server templates and script automation simplified application installation for simple and pre-defined application stacks, but have not targeted more complex enterprise application environments. In his session at the 10th International Cloud Expo, John Yung, CEO of Appcara, will discuss how 2012 will be the year for app...
As more enterprises are adopting clouds, the nature of cloud computing is changing. Previously, clouds were used to test applications or for non-mission critical applications. Today, enterprises are using clouds for cost-saving advantages and launching more mission critical applications that have defined performance needs. Building a cloud computing environment with on-demand access to compute, network, and storage resources requires an elastic infrastructure at multiple levels. Virtualization combined with x86 servers has transformed the way we scale out compute resources. Unfortunately, legacy Fibre Channel and iSCSI storage architectures are rooted in rigid mainframe-era designs, and are fundamentally mismatched with the dynamic, shared modern data center. In his session at the 10th International Cloud Expo, ...
