SysAid 6.0 Opens New Windows of ITIL Opportunities for All Business Sectors

Ilient Ltd., a leading global provider of help desk software solutions, today announced the availability of SysAid 6.0 – the latest version of its flagship IT service management solution. Five million end users and more than 50,000 organizations worldwide already use SysAid software to simplify the management of complex IT infrastructure and the implementation of key guidelines set forth in the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), a comprehensive set of policies and concepts for IT management.

Small to mid-size business (SMB) are tasked to manage and support increasingly complex IT systems – the lifeblood of their organization – as reliance on IT’s ability to serve business operations grows. With typically smaller IT staffs and fewer resources to draw support from, SMBs also face challenges in quickly and effectively implementing ITIL for help desk operations. Now SysAid enables companies in all sectors to dramatically reduce ITIL implementation time from a year-plus to just a few weeks and without making significant new investments in additional resources.

SysAid 6.0 provides an expanded set of 10 embedded modules. IT administrators can tailor each SysAid module to match their unique business environment. Problem Management, Change Management and the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) are designed to identify and resolve issues with key relational data, tracking and reporting capabilities – as well as ease ITIL implementation. Additional modules provide Incident Management, Asset Management, Monitoring, Projects and Tasks, and Manager’s Dashboard functionality – extending key processes typically only available at the enterprise level – to smaller organizations.

“In this economy it is critical to shave dollars and minutes from business processes. We’ve relied on SysAid for more than two years and upgrading to 6.0 was a natural, affordable and beneficial move to make,” said Edward Bavais, IT Infrastructure Manager, Sabert Inc. “With 6.0, our administrators have benefited from built-in ITIL capabilities that help analyze root causes and minimize businesses impact. I was amazed to learn that complicated ITIL procedures such as Change Management were dramatically simplified with SysAid.”

“We often have companies come to us seeking effective approaches to shortening an ITIL implementation project,” said Israel Lifshitz, Founder and CEO of Ilient Ltd. “We’re excited to announce the revolution of accelerated ITIL implementation for help desk operations is now here. We’ve designed SysAid 6.0 with pre-defined templates and intuitive tools, which can be fully customized to any organization’s needs, in a matter of days. ITIL is no longer unreachable for a small or mid-size business.”

Additionally SysAid modules enable users diverse functionalities for streamlining help desk operations. Access through a customized, Self Service Portal allows submission and searching of service requests. To reduce IT downtime, SysAid provides ticket escalation, automatic notifications and an expanded knowledgebase, among other capabilities.

SysAid 6.0 is a Web-based software solution available via download in a variety of editions including Free, Full or On-Demand (SaaS - software as a service-based) from the SysAid Web site: http://www.ilient.com/.

The solution is provided entirely free to small businesses and available in a scalable pricing model for mid-to larger-sized organizations.
